When I turned 16, I worked night shifts in a paper mill called Redbridge. And, although I didn't mind the work (mixing up paint and operating the machines), it didn't excite me, and I knew there was so much more to life.
Then, one evening while out on the town, I bumped into an old school friend.Who told me he had joined the British Royal Marines Commandos.-
"The Royal Marines are the UK's Commando Force and the Royal Navy's own amphibious troops. They are an elite fighting force, optimised for rapid worldwide response and are able to deal with a wide spectrum of threats and security challenges".The next thing I know, I'm in basic training for the next 32 weeks.
